This week, The Heart Beet reports from the golden pages of a love story. Mary Kent gets her heart on, revealing one of her latest creations!
 We all have a story to tell of our time here on Earth. A beginning and an end. And, a plot thicker than any book could ever hold. We have characters that move in and out of our lives and settings that change, as our soul moves about us like the wind. We have ways of expressing those stories through movies, music, books, conversations, and journals. Ways that help us understand the inner aspects of what really is going on deep within our hearts. Seven years ago, I started writing my story through tips and advice to eager readers on my website, The Weekly Beet. I was writing to help people through my knowledge of nutrition and my own personal health struggles. And, with the blink of an eye, here I sit years later having made and continuing to share my own inner story's miraculous journey. I have traveled to places off the beaten path, listened to my inner GPS even when people shook their head at me, and kept going when the going got harder than you could ever imagine. I'm pretty sure that is simply what happens when you give of yourself. You get more than you could ever imagine in return, but stirs up quite a challenge in the process!
Many of you have followed my heart's story to lands far and wide. You have seen where I've taken off and where I've touched down. You've seen places that have touched my heart in ways that I really just could never explain in words, yet felt anyway what I was trying to transmit. You've seen the map that miraculously my soul made, guiding me far away, yet safely back towards home. Along the way, I shared lots of golden moments and kept many memories held tight, especially as I made my way through Scotland. My journey to Scotland is probably the most sacred of all journeys that I will ever make, as that is where a great part of my story's lineage began. So, to keep that generational aspect of my story alive, I have placed my love of Scotland in the golden jewels I made for my latest creation, The Heart Bead. A story in a jewel? Ah, but, of course! For every object has a message to tell.
