Brusha Brusha Brusha!
This week, The Weekly Beet is saying goodbye to Colgate and hello to Power Smile. Now is the time to brush up on the importance of an all-natural toothpaste!
We headed to the health food store in search of the best all-natural toothpaste and found a brand that we simply had to share. Unlike most toothpastes, Jason's Power Smile contains no Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, no Fluoride, no Saccharin, no Preservatives, no Artificial Colors or Flavors, no Animal By-Products, no Animal Testing, and no Propylene Glycol. Can you get any more natural? Power Smile is a combination of plants and minerals such as Calcium Carbonate, Aloe Vera, Silica, Grapefruit Seed Extract, and Peppermint Oil. We love it not only because it gives you the most unBEETable breath, but you simply won't recognize your pearly whites when you look in the mirror! As always, it's better to go the all-natural route. The fewer the chemicals the better the product.
To add an extra sparkle to your smile, try our home recipe that entails two household products: Hydrogen Peroxide and Baking Soda. We say try it once a month for incredibly white teeth and healthy gums. Pour a pinch of Baking Soda on your palm and add Hydrogen Peroxide. This will create a paste. Put the paste on the toothbrush and brush away! You can purchase these products at any pharmacy or grocery store.
The next time you have to say "Cheese," we say make it a Power Smile.
Don't miss a Beet. Stay tuned for next week.
